Michael Condrey, co-founder of Sledgehammer Games announced on his Twitter feed that an incoming patch for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is on the way regarding weapon balancing, ranked play updates, map exploits and other optimization issues: “#AdvancedWarfare TU @X1/PS4 +PC Stay tuned for notes incl weapon balancing, ranked play updates, map exploits & spawn fixes, optimizations +” The update is due to arrive before the weekend.
Even being the biggest launch in 2014, according to Activision, the game has still met it’s fair share of issues. The game’s release version had many players reporting various issues such as severe lag, prestige problems, weapon reloading counting as speed reloads as well as cutscenes with bad lip-synching during the game’s single-player campaign. Still, the game has been met with stellar reviews.
The game is also still on schedule to receive it’s long-time traditional zombie mode, (this time with zombies wearing Exo-Suits, similar to the one’s players wear) coming with the game’s Havoc DLC Pack sometime in 2015.
