Dead Island 2, the sequel to the 2011 first-person action game is set to release in early 2015. According to the FAQ page on the games website, the upcoming Beta will be exclusive to Playstation 4 owners for 30 days. Yager Development, the developer behind the game hasn’t revealed a date when the Beta will become available. Though in order to qualify for the beta you must have pre-ordered “Escape Dead Island”. Though due to both poor sales and with “Escape Dead Island” being received poorly, the developers could make the Beta open to all Playstation 4 owners though time will tell. Expect more news to be revealed in the coming months as the games release date approaches.
Dead Island 2 is being developed by Yager Development. The game is a departure from the more serious tone of the original as the world and characters are more vibrant. The game is slated to release early 2015 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
