The release date for the Xbox One port of Limbo has been announced, and it will be releasing very soon.
Limbo for Xbox One will be released this Friday, December 5th and will be priced at $9.99. Early adopters of the Xbox One, however, will receive the game for free as part of the Xbox One 1-year anniversary celebration. The Xbox One version of Limbo will run at 60 fps and will have a resolution of 1080p.
Originally released on Xbox 360 back in 2010 on XBLA, Limbo is a 2D platform game with puzzle elements, dark visuals, and a moody atmosphere. Players control a young boy making his way through “the edge of hell” which leads him on an epic adventure.
Limbo is currently available for Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Mac, and iOS. As mentioned earlier, the title will be making its current generation console debut this Friday on Xbox One.
