New Thief 1080p Gameplay Video Revealed

In preparation for the upcoming release of the stealth adventure game Thief, Eidos Montreal revealed a Full HD 1080p gameplay video. Taking the fans through the first mission the pure, unedited video shows enthusiasts just what they can expect from the reboot of the classic stealth game series.

Taking control of Garrett, players will be trying to help him make his way back to his hideout in the clock tower, after a heist gone wrong. The foggy, dark visual atmosphere the game recreates in combination with the sound effects, Thief does manage to deliver an aesthetically correct stealth gameplay experience.

Before acting, you should plan your every move in order to achieve successful theft.

The playthrough was recorded on a fully optimized AMD hardware with AMD FX 8350 CPU, 8 GB or RAM, a AMD Radeon HD 7970 graphics card on a PC running Windows 7. Eidos Montreal revealed the minimum and recommended requirements for Thief back in January. Anyone who is wondering if he has a machine powerful enough to run the game can go ahead and check them out.

Thief will be released on February 25, 2014 for the NA region followed by a February 27 AU release and a February 28 EU release. The game will be available on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Are you excited about the game?
