The Hearthstone Android version is now available in Australia, Canada and New Zealand and worldwide in a later date
Android users in Australia, Canada and New Zealand can now get their Hearthstone fix on the move, because from today they can get Hearthstone for free on Google Play. Their getting the game first “As part of the first phase of our Android launch” which means that their most likely using these areas for beta testing before they release it worldwide in the upcoming days.
The Android version will contain the full Hearthstone experience so players will be able to use the new cards in the recent Goblin vs Gnomes expansion pack and take on the Curse of Naxxramas adventure.
Of course players character progress and card collections will be shared across the all platforms by using your Hearthstone account so you don’t have to worry about having to win back all those hard earned cards again. Speaking of cards as a special gift to players trying the Android version, all Android users will get a free pack of Classic cards and all you have to do to redeem them is complete a game of Hearthstone on either Play, Arena or Practice Mode.
For players curious about Hearthstones minimum system requirements on an Android, you’ll need a minimum 6-inch screen, at least 1 GB of RAM in memory and you’ll need a Android 4.0 or later Operating System. In the same update Blizzard also revealed that Hearthstone will be coming soon to the phone but they won’t be revealing any more information on this “till early next year“.
From today Android users in Australia, Canada and New Zealand will be able to get Hearthstone for free on their Android devices through Google Play.
