PC gamers don’t need to worry much longer, the Second Assault DLC for Battlefield 4 will be arriving on the PC tomorrow, on the 18th of February. Console users have already gotten their hands on DICE’s DLC for Battlefield 4, and have begun blowing each other up on some classic Battlefield 3 maps…that’s assuming the game doesn’t crash every 5 minutes, mind you. With the recent stability patches to the PC though, we can at least hope that the Betafield 4 days are behind us, and everything will go smoothly.
Second Assault is priced at $15, and comes as the second DLC for Battlefield 4, after China Rising. Premium users get it for free, but then again, the premium membership comes at $50. Second Assault will port some classic Battlefield 3 maps into Battlefield 4, mainly Operation Metro, Operation Firestorm, Gulf of Oman and Caspian Border. Of course, in true Battlefield 4 fashion, you can blow buildings to bits, causing carnage, death, mass destruction, server crashes and player frustrations. Relax, we’re kidding about that last part…at least we hope we are.
Regardless, DICE continues to work hard on making Battlefield 4 a better experience. Many more patches and fixes are likely to follow in the upcoming months, especially considering that 3 more DLCs are prepared for the game, with Naval Strike being the next. Naval Strike will be the 3rd DLC launching for Battlefield 4, and will be coming out in March. Until then, boot up your PCs and get back into action on some large, classical maps.
