Microsoft and 343 Industries have announced the different versions of Halo 5: Guardians that will be available for purchase when the title is released.
Aside from the standard edition of the game (that only comes with a copy of Halo 5: Guardians), two limited editions were announced.
The Limited Edition of Halo 5: Guardians will be priced at $99.99 and will include digital content that will “enhance Spartan combat” and will also come with “exclusive items”. This Limited Edition will also be packaged in a steelbook case.
The Limited Collector’s Edition of Halo 5: Guardians will be priced at $249.99 and will include everything from the Limited Edition of the title, along with a yet-to-be-revealed physical item. A numbered statue is said to be in the process of being designed by 343 Industries and will be included in this set.
With this announcement, 343 Industries will be giving Halo fans different options over what version of Halo 5 they will be picking up.
For those who own Halo: The Master Chief Collection and want to try out the next installment in the series, a multiplayer beta of Halo 5: Guardians is now available to download and participate in.
Halo 5: Guardians will be released exclusively on Xbox One during the Fall of 2015.
