iPhone 6 Release date

by GH Staff

Apple is set to reveal their new iPhone 6 at this year’s WWDC (WorldWide Developers Conference) in July. Apple has previously launched new iPhones in September, however Mizukho Securities analyst Abhey Lamba believes Apple are gearing up to join in the Christmas sales, with supply chain vendors gearing up to increase production in anticipation. “Recently, the company has been introducing new lineup in September time frame whereas the next generation phones could come out in July this year,” he said. “The earlier launch will be helpful for Apple as it will ensure significant availability and distribution of the new device during the holiday season.”

Though so far no specs have been confirmed, Abhey Lamba states there will be multiple models of the Iphone 6 available when it will be released. On top of that, it appears Apple could launch different models with varying size display, ranging from 4.7 inch to 5.5 inch, larger than the current model which sits at 4 inches. You can also expect Apple to enhance the Finger Print scanner for higher functionality and more application support.

In addition to the iPhone 6, Apple is also expected to launch a new Watch and Apple TV later this year.
