We are, of course, talking about Half-Life: Alyx, what’s presently by far the best-reviewed VR game on any storefront, according to dozens of pre-release reviews that just went live this week. Not to mention one of history’s first truly AAA VR titles.
Naturally, HTC probably isn’t paying Valve a full $60 per a complimentary copy of Half-Life: Alyx but financial details of the newly announced cross-promotion have unsurprisingly been left undisclosed. The offer will be valid in the United States, Canada, UK, Australia, and Mexico so long as supplies last.
Meaning HTC’s batch of Half-Life: Alyx Steam redemption codes, in this instance. Mind you, this doesn’t mean you’ll be able to play the game prior to its official release date, which is set for the 23rd of this month. Besides the HTC Vive Cosmos Elite bundle, any other purchase including a member of HTC’s latest Cosmos family makes you eligible for a free copy of Half-Life: Alyx.
