Cel Damage HD Coming to Sony Systems in April

by GH Staff

Remember Cel Damage? Chances are, if you’re reading this and you don’t, you’re not over 18. Cel Damage was an off-the-wall, cel drawn, demolition derby racer that originally released back in 2001 for the Nintendo Gamecube, Playstation 2, and Microsoft Xbox. The game, similar to a Twisted Metal type affair, pits players in car to car combat, allowing players to destroy other cars using a myriad of interesting weapons.

Developed by Psuedo Interactive, the original game became a cult hit even after receiving generally mixed reviews. If you head over to Metacritic, you’ll see that the game has 67 based on the major critics’ reviews.

Cel Damage HD will be released as a cross-buy for Playstation 4, PS3, and Vita. The game will have four-person split-screen on the console versions but multiplayer on Vita has not been detailed.

Cell Damage HD is being developed by Finish Line Games and will be available sometime in April.
