AAXA Technologies Inc is a relatively young company which specializes in “pico” and “micro” projector design and manufacturing. It was founded in 2008 and right off the bat their technology was based on LCoS and DLP imaging together with LED to accomplish the tiny design of their projectors. Their headquarters remain in Irvine California. From the day of founding to today, AAXA managed to invent and patent a lot of LCoS based technologies which makes them somewhat of a special company in this space. These days we can get an LCD or DLP projector. LCD projectors project a beam of light onto tiny mirrors that are dissolving the beam into red, green, and blue segments. These signals are then projected through chips, further through a lens and then projecting it onto a sheet or a wall. Each of the mirror reflects light to create a dark or a light pixel, while the colour is generated through a wheel which is turning around. Light is then projected onto the wall.
