The Amazon Prime currently costs $79 per year. Users who pay for the service receive perks like free shipping on millions of items available on Amazon. The service also allows customers to borrow select Kindle books for free. Free streaming with Amazon’s video-on-demand service is also offered.
The price for such privileges tough is expected to rise. Amazon is looking to increase it to either $99 or $119. This would mark the first time that Amazon will change the price for the Prime service.
