Amazon Fire TV Is At War

Amazon Fire TV

Digital television is now the latest trend which is becoming more and more popular in many homes. TV sticks are becoming big business and now two of the biggest online digital companies are starting a war with one another thanks to their design of similar TV stick devices. Google Chromecast has recently hit the market and now Amazon have released the Amazon Fire TV stick. Both devices are designed in a very similar way and act as small digital streaming players. They both have similar functions and work with similar media platforms such as Netflix. They both also offer a similar price tag, which also adds to the competition.

Now they are at war and a new twist has developed.

A new twist to the issue has now developed. Amazon are selling the Google Chromecast devices via their large website and are set to make losses on their own product if they continue to do so. Amazon do still get a cut from the sales but this still does not mean good things for their own, very similar product. The problem for Amazon is that they will help Google deliver the Chromecast product to the whole world and this will also deliver to many smaller sellers that use Amazon with which to market products.

Summary

Now critics are starting to question the motives behind Amazon’s move to sell this device, if they only will end up losing money. Some think that Amazon became inspired by the device when the Google Chromecast began to rise to the top of the Amazon electronics charts. The popular Google device then managed to stay at the top of those charts for a long period of time and hasn’t really disappeared since it was launched in July 2013. whether Amazon will be able to develop the Fire TV stick so that it is more popular and successful than the Google Chromecast is a question that is yet to be answered.
