Amiibo Holy Trinity Coming Soon on Newegg

by GH Staff

It seems that everyone is after the rare Amiibo these days, some of whom are not even fans, simply those looking to make a profit on a new collecting craze. It isn’t rare for situations like this to occur however. A simple comparison is concert ticket scalping. People buy up a bunch of a high demand item to simply resell them at an astronomically high price not caring that they are causing stress and anger to the actual fans of said item whether it be a hot new singer songwriter or the first line of toys made by a beloved video game heavy hitter such as Nintendo.
Fear not my fellow Amiibo collectors for this morning a small glint of hope has shone from one of the darkest and most frantic situations in recent Nintendo history. Recently there have been many claims from internet-goers that they have seen a few Marth, Villager or Wii Fit Trainers pop up on sites like Amazon and a relatively new Reddit post of a short AMA with a Nintendo Representative seems to confirm that they have no intention on cancelling any of their figures stating that they may follow the likes of the Disney Vault, releasing reprints at a later date. This morning it appears that these reprints could be coming sooner than anticipated. Newegg now has the Holy Trinity up for their $12.99 price tags stating that a “Pre-Release” of the figures is “coming soon”. If you are as thrilled as I am to even have the possibility of getting your hands on these you can even sign up for release notification with your e-mail address. Newegg Marth Coming Soon     With a Nintendo Direct coming up later this morning (from the current time I am writing this) many speculators have left out a potential Amiibo mention opting in for Majora’s Mask 3DS, Yoshi’s Woolly World, and a New 3DS / 3DS XL release date reveal. Could we see a brief spot for Amiibo? I don’t see why not but you probably should not get your hopes up for I feel a Nintendo Direct won’t be the platform that they’ll announce restocking of a product even if it’d excite a huge majority of their fan base.
