If you are an avid fan of mobile games and applications, Angry Birds games are one of the most awaited innovative games in the virtual world. For those who love Angry Birds games, you could now get and play the 10th version and installment of the franchise. After skipping Electronic Entertainment Expo this year, Game developer Rovio Entertainment has shared their thoughts with Hasbro to come up with a brand new game and create a cross over with Transformers.
Creating Angry Birds Transformers game is not the very first time that Rovio Entertainment has teamed up their mobile game with another massive IP. Rovio already released Angry Birds Star Wars, based on the original sci-fi film original trilogy on November 8, 2012. Then another follows, based on the prequel trilogy and Clone Wars TV Series that is titled Angry Birds Star Wars II on September 18, 2013. These 2 games that were released have been successful with its sales of about a hundred million units.
The executives of Rovio Entertainment have been really excited with its mash up of these 2 popular brands, the combination of the outstanding Transformers and fun game Angry Birds. Rovio assures that most people, who love this game before, will truly love it even more. Unlike the version of Angry Birds mash up with Star Wars, Angry Birds Transformers is not just simply another similar version of its IP. The developers take the IP into a totally new genre.
Angry Birds Transformer named its characters as Autobirds and Deceptihogs. This game is a side scrolling shooter where the characters run from left to right and you must tap on the screen to destroy the deceptihogs (pigs). Obviously, the names of the character came up with the parodies of Transformers Autobots and Decepticons, who’s also the rival characters in Transformers movies and TV shows. The deceptihogs were placed on top of structures, just like on its original game. Angry Birds Transformers lets you take the pigs down by laser fire. Some pigs were also armed with their laser guns, and if it took you so long before you put them down, they will shoot back.
Angry Birds that was released with new genres becomes a popular trend in Rovio Entertainment. Last December they just came up with Angry Birds Go, similar to Mario Kart.
Angry Birds Transformers is now available on I0S devices and will soon be out in Android devices.
