Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment announced the Apex Legends Blood Pact Event on October 8 under the title ‘Fight for Beasts or Demons in the Blood Pact Event’ on the official Apex Legends news page. The Halloween-themed limited-time event goes live on October 13 and runs through November 3. The Blood Pact Event follows the Street Fighter 6 crossover event that ran in September 2026.
Wildcard faction choice
In Wildcard, players pledge their loyalty to the Beasts or the Demons. Players earn their faction’s Wild Cards by completing challenges throughout the match. Every round throws down a challenge to deal enough damage or land enough knocks, and the Wild Card is yours.
For Beasts, the perks are Evasive Maneuvers, Fast Draw, and Critical Roll. Evasive Maneuvers grants faster movement and Double Jump when weapons are stowed. Fast Draw speeds up weapon reloads and shield cell use. Critical Roll grants temporary critical hits on reload. For Demons, the perks are Speedy Charge, Shields Up, and Super Cells. Speedy Charge makes Tactical and Ultimate charge faster. Shields Up provides Epic Level shields. Super Cells cause Cells to regenerate all shield health.
Haunted Kings Canyon changes
The event takes place on a spooky Kings Canyon. Fog can randomly descend upon the map, hiding squad movement and reducing sightlines. Rev Shell Grenades return to seek out players lurking in the dark. The map features haunted buildings, glowing Nessies, haunted Loot Bins, and Pumpkin-skinned EVO orbs.
Blood Pact Store and patch notes
Sparrow gets a new 80s werewolf Legend Skin and Character Select Animation. Alter gets a new Legend Skin and a new R-99 Weapon Skin. New Beast and Demon Legend Retheme Bundles are also available in the Blood Pact Store.
Respawn fixed an issue where some platforms were unable to access updated language packs. The patch notes list several open issues. Entering an Alter portal may drop players in the incorrect location. Players can clip through the ground of some structures on Broken Moon. Game settings reset on startup for some players. Apex Legends is currently running a cross-play matchmaking test on US-West servers.
