ArcheAge the upcoming ‘sandpark’ MMORPG has finally received a US and EU release date, the game will release on September 16, 2014. Posting an open letter to all players on their website, the ArcheAge team announced that the game will launch into an open beta on September 4 and run to September 8. There are no requirements to get in to the open beta, just download the game and log in. On top of that, if you were part of any of the closed beta’s your character will be waiting for you. ArcheAge has already had a successful release in Japan and gamers eagerly await its upcoming Western release. The game is described as a ‘sandpark’ MMORPG because it’s a hybrid of the Sandbox MMO and the Themepark MMO.
