Black flag, The modern day sequences switch drastically from Desmend to a first person nameless player, Where his or hers task was to search the memories of Edward Kenway to find anything of excellence for their “Movie”.
Assassins Creed Unity is changing things up again.
Pontbriant said that you the player will pilot the Animus no change there then, But at some point of the beginning of the game you will be contacted by the Assassins order to search through the memories of Arno to tie into the events of present day to the French revolution.
Its going to be interesting to find out how the Assassins order convinces a seemingly unimportant person like your player to lay on the Animus to go for a roller-coaster ride in one of the bloodiest times in history, Only to gain a advantage on a hidden war that has been raging on for centuries.
