SOEDESCO, worldwide developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment announced today that they are looking to the community to help design the box art for the upcoming Awesomenauts: Assemble! The game, which is expected to be due out in October, is the next gen version of Awesomenauts which made its debut on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
In the press release, SOEDESCO stated;
we value the opinion of the community more than anything. Modern games thrive when their communities are strong. For that reason we wanted to involve the community of Awesomenauts, the 2D platforming-MOBA by Ronimo Games, with the choosing of the most important aspects of a physically released game: the box art.
How Can You Take Part?
Taking part in the box art selection process is actually very simple. VIA the SOEDESCO Facebook page, they will be presenting two different box arts to the Awesomenauts community. From there, it’s up to the fans to vote on which of the two is their favorite, then one that ends up with the most votes will be chosen as the PS4 box art. SOEDESCO goes on to say in the press release; “ Letting the community decide about the box art is our small way of saying thank you to all the loyal fans of Awesomenauts.” There’s really no better way to be a part of the gaming community than actually having the chance to pick a games box art. The voting began today and will last until August 27th.
