In an interview with Groovey.TV, voice actor Kevin Conroy may have slipped some information about Batman Arkham Knight’s launch. Conroy stars as Batman in the Arkham series and has voiced Batman in the past, such as in Batman: The Animated Series. During this interview, Conroy mentioned something briefly about Arkham Knight’s release date:
“It was supposed to come out in January, we were working on it for a year and a half, it’s still not done so it’s going to come out next January but I know everyone’s frustrated. The reason it’s been delayed is because it’s so awesome.”
This isn’t a concrete confirmation but it’s definitely something to go on. Neither Rocksteady nor WB have confirmed any solid release date for the game so we’ll have to wait to see if this is true. Batman Arkham Knight was initially rumored to have been delayed and this was later confirmed by Rocksteady. Previously, the game was slated for release on October 14 2014 but has since been delayed to 2015. Since then, Rocksteady has release two new gameplay trailers: “Evening The Odds”, which features Batman taking on multiple thugs, and the Batmobile Battle Mode trailer from E3 2014. Batman Arkham Knight is being developed exclusively for next gen and will launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
