The first gameplay trailer for Batman Arkham Knight was recently unveiled and there is a lot going on. Batman immediately springs into action against the escalating threat in Gotham City, proclaiming that he’s ‘evening the odds’. In this trailer, you’ll see several Batman characters including the protagonists and signature villains. The Batmobile is a big highlight of the trailer, as it zooms around the city like an unstoppable force. You also get to see it driving on the walls of a sewer, really cool stuff. Finally, the trailer ends with the appearance of Batman’s new adversary, the Arkham Knight. Take a look at the trailer below and tell us what you think.
Previous rumors claimed that the game would be delayed until 2015, but were later debunked and then followed by rumors of an Injustice sequel being released in 2015 instead. This trailer seems to be what was previewed by a select few individuals when the Arkham Knight was first revealed. Now that we know what he looks like in action, he’s sure to be a major threat throughout the game. Many theories exist as to his possible identity, but Rocksteady has already stated that this is an original character designed specifically for the new game. Batman Arkham Knight is releasing this October on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
