The Game Awards 2014, which was announced as the replacement for Spike TV’s VGAs earlier this month, has had a new video released promoting the upcoming event, with the final moments of the trailer hinting at the possibility of Rocksteady Studios’ highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight making an appearance at the event.
The 30-second promo features a montage of clips from recently released games in 2014, including Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Assassin’s Creed Unity and Far Cry 4. The ending, however, has a message delivered by Scarecrow, one of the open-world title’s main antagonists: “All that’s left for you to do is watch.”
Although it’s only a slight glimpse of the Batman villain at the end of the promo, there’s no doubt this could be a sign that developer Rocksteady Studios is preparing to reveal some more Arkham-related news during the event in Las Vegas on December 5th.

With iconic Batman villains such as Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn and Riddler confirmed to appear in Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady Studios’ final installment in the Arkham franchise takes place one year following the events of their critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham City.
Batman: Arkham Knight will launch worldwide on June 2nd, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
