It’s been quite some time since the initial release of Batman: Arkham Origins in the late fall of 2013, but Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have chosen to take another glimpse at Arkham Origins in terms of expanding its current in-game experience. Batman: Arkham Origins will offer the DLC Cold, Cold Heart which’ll features none other than the subzero villain, Mr. Freeze. Previously there had been no explanation as to where in Batman: Arkham Origins’ timeline that the DLC event would’ve taken place. With this brand-new interview the overall assumption is that it’ll take place post-Arkham Origins by at least two weeks in sequence to the events that have eventually led up to Mr. Freeze’s assault on Arkham City.
The teaser trailer that was released in late February on Arkham Knight’s official channel exposed Cold, Cold Heart‘s official release date to be expected on 4/22 of this year. Good news, since that means we have little less then two weeks until Batman: Arkham Origins‘ DLC launches to the public. However, it will only be available across Xbox 360, PS3, and PC platforms since Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have since dropped WiiU support.
