EA’s own Battlefield franchise sees a release date and full fledged official trailer for its upcoming third expansion – Battlefield 4 Naval Strike. Releasing March 25 for the game’s Premium Members (April 8 for everyone else), Naval Strike will include eleven assignments; four new multiplayer maps entitled Lost Island, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker, and Operation Mortar; five new weapons (AR-160, SR-2, AWS, SR338, and the SW40); two gadgets (M320 3GL, and the AA Mine); and two vehicles (the Amphibious Hovercraft, and the Old Cannon).
The DLC will also feature the Carrier Assault gamemode, said to be a homage of Battlefield 2142’s fan favorite Titan mode.
Battlefield 4: Naval Strike will be available for purchase and download on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC March 25 for premium members, and April 8 for all others.
