Battlefield has been one of the top FPS games next to the Call of Duty series giant and is once again showing us why with its latest previews and beta of Battlefield 4. DICE recently released their trailer for their new title which gives us a glimpse into the games story line, and as always amazing graphics and awesome explosions. One of the trailers main focuses seems to be on a certain character named Huang Shuyi, she appears as a main character in the story mode and a cause for conflict between your squad.

Information that has been announced for the upcoming title include things such as Medals that you earn from getting ribbons in game, 50 ribbons will equal to being one medal. Certain medals and ribbons are also unobtainable unless you are playing a certain class in the game, which include: Engineer, Assault, Support and Recon.
Players will also have the ability to gain ranks for your efforts, the ranks range from 0 to 100, starting with recruit and climbing your way up to the rank of Colonel, these ranks are achieved in the multi-player mode and are worked out from your score, so players looking to put a lot of time and effort into the game are rewarded for doing so. DICE has let on that despite Colonel being the max rank it isn’t the end of your journey and that there will be exclusive challenges that only players of that rank will be able to participate in!
A new feature added in to the game is the addition of Battlepacks, these are little rewards given out to certain ranks and can be found in your stash at any random time, they come in three different qualities, Gold being the best, Silver, and Bronze. Things such as accessories and guns can be found in your Battlepacks, so be sure to regularly check your stash when ranking up!
Like previous titles and the same as the Call of Duty series, your in game efforts for killing people with certain weapons rewards you with new guns to play with and the ability to accessorize them as you see fit and to match your play style. Players will now be rewarded also for attempts to finish their mission as game developers want to give their player base more incentive to play rather then feeling like they aren’t making any progress.
