Battlefield 4 becoming better for the PC

by GH Staff

DICE has released news that Battlefield 4 will get a major patch for the PC. It is going to be released next week and is said to remove some major glitches and improve the overall game quality for the PC gamer. According to the developers, the patch is ready and only needs to go through verification, before it is released for general use.

The main issues on which the patch is focused include removing the blur effect, which appear on the soldiers, when using an EMP attack and the common crash, which occurs when you are switching between the Single Player Mode and the Main Menu. Other bugs, which are being fixed by this Battlefield 4 patch, are the audio bug, which made everything silent in multiplayer mode, on some maps and the “one-hit kill bug,” where you were able to kill someone with one bullet, only because the damage from it applied multiple times on the target.

The bugs may not seem like a huge deal, but the players who’ve experienced them know that they are something a game from the caliber of Battlefield 4 shouldn’t have. As the developers are also aware of the fact, they somewhat promptly responded with this new upcoming patch.

Aside from the aforementioned issues, the patch will also concentrate on tweaking the network and computer performance screen, so it will show the real values. People who enjoy the game will now be able to test their system and network and get recommendations, to help them improve their hardware or connection in order to fully enjoy the capabilities of Battlefield 4.

The game recently received an update for its PS4 version, which addressed issues found on the next-gen console; however, with the next-gen hype PC players haven’t been heard for quite some time now, until now that is.

Battlefield 4 player appreciation will be launched starting today and going throughout up to December the 5th. All players will be able to get Double XP. Also, on the 5th of December, players will receive a M1911 as a gift, just for logging in the game.

The upcoming week events connected with Battlefield 4 just go to show that the developers haven’t forgotten about the fans of the games and are trying quickly to respond to their requests. So don’t be mad if you find a bug in the game, because it will soon be fixed by the developers.
