Bioware announces the SWTOR Shadow of Revan expansion

by GH Staff

Get ready to save the galaxy…. again when the Shadow of Revan expansion is released December 9th

It takes a truly fearsome threat to unite two forces filled with so much hated for each other, but on December 9th the Republic and the Empire will have to team up if they’re going to stop Revan, when the Shadow of Revan expansion is released this December 9th.

In the Shadow of Revan, the former Republic hero and redeemed Sith Lord Revan is back and more fearsome than ever as his leading an army of extremists group called “Revanites”, in his apocalyptic plan to leave both the Empire and Republic in ashes.

When the Shadow of Revan expansion is released, the level cap will get raised to 60 and will introduce brand new and powerful Revanite equipment, craft schematics and new mounts including for the first time armoured vehicles.

This Revanite equipment will be very useful too because the Shadow of Revan will also bring in two new role-neutral Flashpoints, four Hard Mode Flashpoints and ten new powerful bosses across two Level 60 Operations.

How will the Shadow of Revan expansion effect players who sided with the Revanites?

The biggest gameplay change Shadow of Revan will bring to SWTOR is the introduction of the Discipline system, which is set to replace the Skill Trees. Players will be able to choice their Discipline from level 10 and there will be three unique disciplines per class and Bioware will explain the disciplines in later blog posts.

The Shadow of Revan expansion is available for pre-order now, and if players pre-order before November 2nd they’ll get a limited-time class XP boost so they can rush straight to level 55, seven days of early access starting from December 2nd, the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion for free and a Grand Statue of Revan (you know the main antagonist) to display in their Stronghold.

For players who pre-order before December 1st, they’ll get the Grand Statue of Revan for their Stronghold and the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion for free.

The Shadow of Revan expansion for SWTOR is now available now for pre-order at $19.99 and here’s the link.
