Crafted in rectangular 5 inch multi touch super AMOLED, proximity and light sensor technology, the phone has a sharp display. It possesses an HD resolution of 720*1280 pixels and a pixel density of 295 pixels per inch.

The Blackberry Z30 is driven by dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1700 MHz, krait 300 processor and 2GB RAM. The inbuilt storage memory is 16GB which can be expanded up to 64GB using a micro SD card. The primary camera is 8MP where the time shift feature takes multiple shots at a time. An HD video camera of 1920*1080 pixels and a secondary camera of 2MP is present for video calling. The bright spot in Blackberry Z30’s performance is its lengthy battery life. The battery is 2880MAh having a talk time of 18 hours and a standby time of 16 days.

Nexus 4

Unveiled on October 2012, the nexus 4 is a smart phone co-developed by Google and LG electronics that runs on Android Operating System. It is the fourth smart phone of the nexus series.

The exterior of the Nexus 4 is a glass-based construction with a rounded fiber bezel, to improve the swiping gestures of the edges. The glass is a little bit curved on the sides of the display. The physical size of the display is 4.7 inches with a screen resolution of 768*1280 pixels. The glass has an IPS LCD scratch resistant proximity sensor multi touch capacitive technology.

Internally, the Nexus 4 is powered by a smooth quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon, 1500 krait processor, which is much faster compared to Blackberry Z30. The RAM is of 2GB and the built in storage memory is 16GB. An 8MP primary camera, a high quality video recorder of 1920*1080 pixels and a rear camera of 1.3MP is present. The pixels per inch density being 318, much higher than Blackberry Z30, the picture quality is better. A 2100 mAh Lithium Polymer battery with a talk time of 15.3 hours and a standby time of 16.2 hours runs the device.

Based on the above specifications, considering the speed, performance and efficiency the nexus 4 is clearly the better one among the two.
