Say hi to Blizzards new World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor’s Trolls model
It’s amazing how hard little details like tusks can make things.With game nearing its release date of November 13th yesterday on the World of Warcraft blog, Blizzard revealed the new World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor’s Trolls model.
For a game that has been around for 10 years now, these models do look very impressive and according to Chris Robinson on the World of Warcraft blog where a real challenge to make and the reason was those tusks.
According to him:
“In the character customization options, you have the ability to select from a number of tusk “styles.” While other race models (like the Tauren) have similar customization options, the additional modeling, texturing, and animation articulation of the Troll face—and mouth especially—made this a distinctive challenge.”
The trolls have been in WoW since the beginning but were only made a playable race in the Cataclysm expansion. The Troll gets a 5% damage boost against Beasts with Beast Slaying and reduce the duration of all movement impairing effects by 15% with Da Voodoo Shuffle.
They also have more combat oriental traits with Berserking which increase your Attack casting speed by 20% for 10 seconds and Regeneration which increases your health regeneration by 10% and gives you 10% of your health regeneration during combat. As for weapons they also get a 1% crit chance to throwing weapons and bows as standard.
For World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor’s Trolls models and as the game gets closer to its release date of November 13th we’ll have to wait and see what else Blizzard are willing to show off.
