Borderlands 2 Gameplay Footage for PS Vita Caught at GDC 2014

Borderlands 2 on the PS Vita

The first gameplay for Borderlands 2 on the PlayStation Vita has emerged from GDC 2014. Gearbox revealed early this year that they’d made plans to launch the popular game on the handheld system by this spring. However, we haven’t heard much on the development or gameplay on the PlayStation Vita. That changed when Atomix got their hands on the system and were able to capture their experience all on camera.

Minus the unavoidable background noise, the rendition onto the PS Vita looks and sounds intact. Rumor has it that Borderlands 2 will also become available for Android, so stay alert for that if you don’t have access to a PlayStation Vita. Pocket Gamer also commented to fans that the first-person shooter will still maintain all of its previous console’s (and PC) charm. “It won’t look quite as nice, but to make up for that it will come with six DLC packs, four player online co-op, and PS3 cross-saving.”

The available DLC packages also have some add-on content that’ll be unique to the PlayStation Vita. So, you’ll be getting your money’s worth in that, and some flexibility to share your Borderlands 2 experience with various friends online . So are you willing to buy the portable version of Borderlands 2?
