Call of Duty: Ghosts Gets a New Update and Heavy Duty Multiplayer Mode

by GH Staff

A new major update for Call of Duty: Ghosts was released today. It not only fixes some minor game issues and bugs, but also brings a new multiplayer mode called “Heavy Duty”. Everyone who has a copy of CoD: Ghosts on any console (except Wii U) is able to freely download the new update and try out the mode.

The Heavy Duty Mode is focuses more on the strategic view of the game, rather than the firefight. One of the major changes in this mode is the increased health of the players. Infinity Ward is hoping that this element of the game will make players think more about the strategy rather than who gets the first kill. If you want to leave your comments about the new Call of Duty: Ghosts game mode you can do it in the official community forums of CoD. Infinity Ward is definitely looking forward to the feedback about the new multiplayer mode.

The new update hit the PC and every console, expect the Wii U. It is still unknown when the Heavy Duty mode will hit the Nintendo console.

Other things that are worth mentioning about the update is that each soldier received five squad points for the first five levels of progression and new loadouts to Infected More were also added.

What do you think? Is the new Heavy Duty mode brining a more strategic element in the game?
