Don’t worry traditionalists, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s exoskeleton can be turned off
Okay men put down your guns, they agreed to our demands.Fans interested in playing a more “traditional” style of multiplayer when Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare comes out will be happy to hear that Sledgehammer Games has confirmed that players will have a playlist available that won’t allow the use of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s exoskeleton suits.
In an interview with Youtuber DvLZStaTioN Sledgehammer Games Co-Founder Michael Condrey said that:
“We also understand that some players may want to go back to more traditional style so there will be a traditional playlist where you can play Team Deathmatch, Domination, Capture the Flag and others without boost jump, without your exo,”
This means that if you want to play a traditional game there will be a playlist just for that. However, it will be just one playlist so expect the maps as well as the game types to loop a bit. For what its worth this is a great idea and will hopefully see some updates after release.
The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare exoskeleton suits will grant players superhuman abilities like no fall damage, cloaking, super jumping and increased melee damage to name a few. These abilities will change the multiplayer forever and the maps have been designed around taking advantage of their vertical 3. However if your feeling nostalgic or just want to play a less hectic multiplayer game that doesn’t include exoskeleton equipped snipers than this playlist may be for you.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is out on November 4th for Xbox 360/One, PS3/4 and PC.
