If you’re a cheater in Call Of Duty Ghosts, then you’re not going to be a fan of the latest hotfix  getting pushed to consoles. According to a new post on the Call Of Duty website, it looks like Tuesday’s patch puts the squash down on those modding during multiplayer matches.  Again, this news is only for console versions, because PC got a similar patch a few days prior.

On top of stopping cheaters, the latest patch for Call Of Duty Ghosts also provides tons of small fixes for the surprisingly engrossing Extinction mode. Probably the biggest update here is that a player’s class is now appropriately displayed beside their gamertag during matches. This makes getting a feel for the skill level of your opponents far easier than before. As is typically the case, you’ll also find band-aids to counter several weird glitches including floating gargoyles, failed weapon respawns, and the ability to teleport outside of the map.

On the smaller side of overall gameplay, spawn killing has been discouraged through the removal of one shot kills for ARs, SMGs and LMGs. A sixty-second match timer bug that heavily impacted eSports and clan matches has also been addressed as well.

Are these fixes enough to get you back on the Call Of Duty Ghosts train? Let me know in the comments section below!
