Xbox Live users will be able to try out the Onslaught DLC in Call of Duty: Ghosts this weekend, as part of yet another free trial for the game. From March 21 to March 24, Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners of Call of Duty: Ghosts can download the Onslaught DLC pack completely free and try out all of its features, including the new maps, new weapon and Extinction episode. A multiplayer demo for Ghosts went live on March 7 2014, allowing anyone to download a condensed version of the game’s multiplayer and also let them try out the very first Extinction mode chapter.
The Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation map pack was previously announced for April 3 2014, which will include 4 new maps, a new Extinction episode and the new Ripper weapon. The Ripper weapon itself is available to use right now for Season Pass holders, at no extra cost. The Onslaught DLC released on January 28 2014, with the maps: Ignition, Fog, Containment and Bayview, and the Extinction episode: ‘Nightfall’. The map ‘Fog’ in particular is very unique and contains several horror elements, such as the ability to transform into Halloween’s Michael Myers. You can purchase the Season Pass now for $49.99, which will get you all the Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC, including the two yet unannounced packs, Invasion and Nemesis, when they drop.
