In the fast-paced world that we live in, it is getting harder and harder to find a place of solace. Noise just finds a way to get to you especially if you live in the city. A solution could be on the way though as a product concept was created by Austrian industrial designer Rudolf Stefanich to cancel outside noise.
The device being developed is named sono and is designed to be attached to a window. The device then vibrates the window to cancel the noise outside. During the prototype testing, the device was able to lower the audio signal by 12 decibels.
While still nowhere ready for production and general consumption, this could lead to more innovation in keeping noise out of homes.
