Celebrities are Excited for Titanfall Too

Celebrities are excited for Titanfall.

Will Arnett of Arrested Development and most recently of The Lego Movie, Nelson Franklin of The Millers and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, comedian Chris Hardwick from The Talking Dead: these celebrities got to play Titanfall first.  The game isn’t even out yet, but these guys and more showed up to an Xbox event earlier this week so they could get their hands on the forthcoming mega-hit early.  The event, hosted at The Microsoft Lounge, allowed a select few to check out all the features of the game while in the presence of Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zampella and Abbie Heppe.  That’s right, there are some celebrities that can’t wait to get their hands on the Xbox One and PC exclusive too.

All the celebrities present seem to have really enjoyed the game.  Nelson Franklin, a known Playstation fan, is even considering picking up an Xbox One just to make sure he doesn’t miss out on the action.  Chris Hardwick seems to be the most amped up about the title, but that’s not too surprising considering how open he is about his nerdiness.

Not only did a few celebrities get a taste of the wall-running action early, but apparently there is a small “Xbox Clique” of celebrity hardcore gamers that is headed by Will Arnett and Justin Theroux.  Theroux (engaged to Jennifer Aniston), who’s notable work includes writing the scripts for Iron Man 2 and Tropic Thunder, has formed a circle of serious gaming friends that include Arnett, Jason Sudeikis (formerly of SNL), and Jerry O’Connell (of Sliders fame).  According to an anonymous inside source, the group’s gaming sessions occur specifically after midnight and the gang play together for hours and hours; which apparently does not please their significant others too much.  Hey, just like us regular folk!  Guaranteed, these celebrities will play Titanfall, and who knows, maybe come March 11 you’ll get a chance to take on some famous titans.
