Yes you heard it right Chivalry: Medieval Warfare gets a massive expansion pack and its due will be at the half of the November. The expansion will be called Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior and lets take a look what will it offer.
When talking about the expansion packs this game surely knows how to deliver one, as you can choose all the new classes such as; Samurais, Spartans, Vikings, Knights, Ninjas and Pirates. But before we go into more depth lets explain what is Chivalry to those who hear about it for the first time. Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is a massively multiplayer first person slasher game where you take control of a medieval warrior and slash your way through the enemy ranks. It has a great ambiance and gameplay and its a must try if you didn’t already. Also the game was developed by a Torn Banner Studios, an indie game company, which again proves that great games can come from those kind of developers. But now lets take a look at expansion.

As said before there are new classes in it for you; Spartans, Samurais, Vikings, Knights,Pirates and Ninjas, but this new expansion offers even more then that. They have upgraded the gameplay and it’s now more faster and even more diverse, which will make the battles even more fun and intense than in the previous game. Each warrior will have more abilities and arsenal to choose from, which also leads to more diversity in game regarding gameplay and tactics. The addition of new weapons and animations is really a breeze of fresh air, especially if they add new finisher moves and more diverse death animations. Six new environments in the game ranging from Ancient Greek to Japan have been added and they are also breathtaking, beautiful and represent each warrior factions homeland . New mode called Multi-team, where you can have six teams on one map at once and this is, for me, the most anticipated thing in this game since it will allow epic battles to take place. Better player profile screen where you can track your skills and stats.
The game is already available for pre-purchase on Steam for 13.99 euros, but if I were you I would wait some more time before buying it. Also the expansion will require the original Chivalry: Medieval Warfare for you to be able to play it. By having intense online combat that seeks to recreate the experience of truly being on a medieval battlefield and drawing its inspiration from movies such as 300, Braveheart and so on, Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior wants you to have first hand experience how would it be like to be in a ancient battle. All I can say, for the end, that you really need to try this game at least once and then you will be hooked. Recreate some epic battles or try to match pirates versus ninjas and hours of fun are surely guaranteed for you.
