After the release of the Xperia Z2, the slightly larger version of the Xperia Z2 smartphone, the tablet market has grown exponentially.

However, there have been several new phablets that have made it to the market, with Apple releasing their newest device to join in on the fun. The Apple iPhone 6 Plus has many tablet features that have made it a sizable contender.

Screen

The iPhone 6 Plus introduction has been very important to the American company, considering that it fills a significant gap between the iPad Mini and the iPhone. It is truly the biggest phone that Apple has created. The 5.5 inch screen is not able to handle the old resolution that came with the other smartphone devices. So the iPhone 6 Plus is equipped with full HD resolution, has had the same 720p resolution that is available on the iPhone 6 displays.

When it comes to screen size, Sony checks all the boxes. The Xperia Z2 Tablet has one of the largest displays on the market with a 10.1 inch screen. This makes it slightly bigger than Apple’s iPad. Even with the 1200 x 1920 pixel resolution, it still struggles to manage the space on the display, in which only provides 224 ppi pixel density. Compare to the iPhone 6 Plus 401 PPI, it is a downgrade. Xperia Z2 has a major advantage being water resistant, in which for up to a meter can be submerged for over 30 minutes, making it one of the few to boast this feature.

Camera

For a mobile phone, the iPhone 6 Plus has one of the finest cameras. In terms of the MP count, it doesn’t come in first place, but the ability and the detail to eliminate the noise comes second to none. Specifically, this devices provides optical image stabilization which does an excellent job of eliminating shakes from videos. Unlike the Xperia Z2 20.7 MP camera, it instead has only 8MP but doesn’t allow for 4K videos.

Performance

For both devices, performance is one of their best attributes. The Xperia Z2 Tablet is outfitted with 2.5GHz quad-core processor with a RAM capacity of 2GB. The iPhone 6 Plus has a modest 1.4GH dual-core processor that allows for a RAM capacity of only 1GB. For a basic 16GB version, it will cost you $749. While the Wi-Fi and LTE version of the Xperia Z2 Tablet will cost you around $550.
