Comparing Galaxy Note 4 vs iPhone 6 vs Xperia Z3

For this stack up, we are looking at Apple’s iPhone 6 against some other heavyweight releases this year, so we can see if iPhone 6 really is the best. Each smartphone provides some pretty good features and premium specifications that are considered worth challengers for iPhone 6. So let’s see which one is better.

Display and Design

Apple iPhone 6

The flat body rounded edged slim design of Apple’s iPhone 6 differs greatly from their previous designs. On the front panel is their home button which is integrated with their fingerprint sensor. This makes great for using their Apple Pay System. The design of the iPhone 6 is finished by their two-tone design that gives the handset a good look. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 4.7 inch display provides a 750 x 1333 resolution, with a pixel density of 326ppi. The display provides great performance when viewing angles, and the display’s coating helps to prevent cracks and scratches.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The phablet from Samsung’s Galaxy Note line provides similar design characterized on the Galaxy S5. The bezels on the body provide a great look for the faux-leather material used on the back panel for a classy look. The 16MP real camera provides a heart rate monitor and LED flash. Along with QHD 5.7 inch display in the front that provides 2560 x 1440 resolution and 551ppi great pixel density.

Sony Xperia Z3

Sony’s new edition to their Xperia line mostly mirrors their predecessor with a glossy back cover and large bezels in which provides a suitable LED flash capable camera. The large 5.2 inch display provides capacitive touch keys on their front panel. The display provides similar resolution and a pixel density of 424ppi.

Comparing Hardware

Apple’s iPhone 6 is powered by a dual-core processor with their A8 chipset coupled with the M8 processor unit. With 1GB of RAM and speeds of 1.4GHz, it provides a faster performance than its predecessor but disappointing for such a premium device.

The Galaxy Note 4 runs on an octa core processor in which the two quad-core Exynos 5433 provides speeds of 1.3GHz and 1.9GHz. The Note 4 also has 3GB of RAM capacity, which gives the user a fast, satisfying, and smooth performance.

Sony’s Xperia Z3 runs on a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM capacity. As well as the Adreno 330 GPU which provides good quality graphics similar to its predecessor.

Camera

The iPhone 6 provides a rear camera of 8MP resolution, in which the front has a 1.2MP. The device provides features of HDR video recording in slo-mo modes at 240fps and 30 to 60 fps.

16MP rear camera found on the Galaxy Note 4 is one of the best with its combinations of great features including dual shot and LED flash, among others. It also provides a 3.7MP front facing camera that will produce pictures of great quality.

Sony’s Xperia Z3 has a powerful rear camera at 20.7MP and a 2.2MP secondary camera. Much like the Note 4 expect to take some great quality photos and videos.

For the price, the iPhone 6 can be found for $840 while the Galaxy Note 4 is priced at $845 on Amazon.com. While also on Amazon, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z3 for $665.
