Launching the Xperia Z3 just a month ago, Sony has continued with their policy of releasing their flagship devices.
At a time when Apple released their newest addition to the iPhone family, Xperia Z3 has come out with the iPhone 6. The screen size increase of the latest Apple phone has become a sizable contender for the other large phones. The traditional Android smartphones have a much larger screen, and this is the case for the iPhone 6 display.
Screen
The iPhone 6 is equipped with a 4.7 inch retina display technology screen that maintains a 326 pixel resolution. The screen size increase helps it a sizable contender for the likes of Sony’s 5.2 inch screen found on the Xperia Z3. The Xperia Z3 has a physical button, unlike the iPhone 6 that relies on buttons on the home screen.
Xperia Z3’s significant design change is just the width of 7.3 mm. Compared to the iPhone 6 6.9mm width, the design of the Xperia Z3 is much better since the camera doesn’t stick out. Sony’s design is also a better premium design than the iPhone 6 which has visible antenna on the back. You are more prone to slip the device out of hand, handling the Apple product, but you won’t get that with the Sony device.
Camera
The Xperia Z3 is outfitted with a 20.7MP camera, and compared to their predecessors, it provides a much higher ISO, and 12800 quality night photos. The iPhone 6 has the same 8MP camera, but has better features such as the iSight feature which has autofocus, and ultra-slow motion that allows for taking pictures at 240fps. Yet it still can’t be up to par with the Sony device, which is capable of video recording of 4K.
Life of Battery
Xperia Z3 battery is major, with a 3100mAH capacity, being only 100 less than its predecessor. It allows up to 48 hours of consistent usage. While the iPhone 6 has a moderate 1810 mAh battery that isn’t any better than its predecessor.
