Cooler Master Quick Fire Ultimate Brown CHERRY MX Mechanical Keyboard Review
This is the well-known Cooler Master Quick Fire Ultimate Keyboard. The QuickFire ultimate line lets buyers select their choice of switches, from red, blue or brown. Every key is individually lit up by LED’s to see the keyboard properly whilst using it in the dark. N-key rollover registers every key press, this will enable users to have faster key presses and better response times giving you an advantage whilst gaming.
This is a very solid keyboard as it has an embedded steel plate for maximum stability and durability, with super grip pads so the keyboard will be stay wherever you position it no matter how vigorously you use it. It also features a handy detachable USB to micro USB cable which is what the keyboard uses to connect to the PC, this feature was probably put into production for travelling purposes or whilst moving the keyboard from a stationary position with ease and less hassle.
The very nice windows lock key is a certain requirement that gamers need, there is always a time in a gamer’s life when they accidentally press down on the windows key only to find themselves tabbed out of the game. The lock key sorts this out by rendering the windows key useless, no matter how many times you press the key, it will not tab you out.
I have experienced this keyboard personally for around 6 or so months so and I can tell you that it is an excellent keyboard to use. The MX brown cherry switches feel great, it is certainly a pleasure to type on, if you don’t have a mechanical keyboard I highly recommend it no matter what type of switch you decide to get. It is also very easy to clean as all keys are detachable, this is done with a special key that is included with the keyboard in the box.
Finally the design of this is amazing, it just looks so clean and sophisticated sitting there. It looks classy almost with its big build. The LED’s can also be switched off or changed to a different mode (Glowing, All on, gaming), the brightness can all be changed as you have 5 different levels to choose from.
