Launched in North America and Europe in early September, Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate contains new content that has never been seen in predecessors, especially the cross-save bonuses. Although the developers (Koei Tecmo Games and Omega Force) didn’t emphasis this special free package in updates or news before the big release, they just added another compelling reason for prospective buyers to snag this innovative project. For those who haven’t seen official trailer or need a preview, just watch the official trailer shown below.
As a quick reminder, this crossover title enables audiences to experience an alternate dimension when Dynasty and Samurai Warriors collide along with new familiar faces seen in other video game titles: Soul Caliber, Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, etc. As these dynamic forces fight across time, these fighters can use fierce but unique moves: aerial special attacks, triple rush, changing battle styles, and true musou burst! For once, the combatant can unleash a powerful attack that can be performed by six officers!
Besides these well-known facts mentioned in previous blogs, players can also obtain the “cross-save bonuses” by completing the saved data transfer to any of the other three PlayStation systems. In fact, the developers have also provided instructions about importing save data. However, this whole transferring process requires an internet connection on the secondary handheld or console device.
To acquire the cross-save bonuses, players who transfer save data from WARRIORS OROCHI 3 ULTIMATE for the PS3™ system or PS VITA system to WARRIORS OROCHI 3 ULTIMATE for the PS4™ system will receive the following bonuses for using “Cross-Save” for the first time:
- 3 New Gauntlet Mode Stages
- PS4 system only bonuses in online campaigns such as increased EXP and gems, or a higher appearance of treasure chests
- Set amount of Upgrade Stones,Growth Points and Gold
- 20 new wallpapers
- BGM from previous titles
- +2 for all acquirable materials in Gauntlet Mode.
This will apply to all items the player already has, as well as items that they acquire playing the PS4™ system version in the future.
Unfortunately, some folks might now have both systems or the handheld, which prevents them from acquiring these prize possessions. As such, do readers think having the cross-save bonuses is a good thing to continue in future titles or should folks keep older consoles to grab these extra stuff?
