According to an entry to the Game Developers Conference schedule, Xbox Chief Product Officer and Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Marc Whitten will be holding a ‘fireside chat’ where he discusses the future of Xbox, while also taking a look back on the recent past where he will recount the development and launch of the Xbox One, and also touch on the ID@Xbox program for independent developers. This year the GDC is being held in San Francisco, California, at the Moscone Center. The event is to be held from March 17th until the 21st, with Whitten’s talk taking place on the final day.

The GDC is an enormous gathering of developers and other well-known names in the industry, with over 700 speakers set to appear. Also rumoured is Sony’s announcement of a virtual reality headset for the Playstation 4, something that would be incredibly exciting to see and learn about.
