Customer draws unique custom box art for The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion so they could trade in the game
Mehrunes Dagon looks a lot less monstrous than I remember him being in this custom box art.
Sometimes you’ll be amazed what people will do but recently on Reddit the user Cloudwouldy uploaded an image of what he claims is a customers custom box art for The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, and it’s hilarious.
Cloudwouldy claims that they got the image from their roommate who works at Gamestop and the image in question is from a kid who thought that he needed a case in order to trade in his game. Part of what makes this great is that the character in front is wearing a generic looking wizards robes and that the tagline reads “Magic & Shit“.
There’s even more unique artwork on the back which shows a character dressed in what appears to be the Knight of the Nine DLC armour punching a goblin in the face. The Goblin in question is actually supposed to be the Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon and it reads “Yo! Mehrunes Dagon is fuckn’ shit up in Cyrodil . You gotta shank that fool with yo Holy Blade or zappa dat shit wit magick“.
The images were also uploaded onto imgur but as funny as the picture and the story is, its questionable if the story is true because if someone really was trying to sell the game, why would they swear so much. On top of that why would they even draw custom box art for The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion if they thought that they needed a case.
