If you’re looking for a challenge then the second day of the 12 Deals of Christmas has you in mind
It’s time for the second day of the 12 Deals of Christmas, and if you’re the sort who enjoys a challenge the PS3 and PS4 deals have you in mind. As a quick reminder these deals will only run from 12.00pm GMT till 11.59am GMT on Friday so if you see something you like, you better snap it up.
Because nothing says Christmas like dying again and again.
Starting with the PS3 you’ll be able to get Dark Souls 2 for €19.99/£15.99/AU$24.95, as well as its Season Pass for an extra €19.99/£15.99/AU$29.95. In Dark Souls 2 you play as an undead who has come to the land of Drangleic in order to cure the curse of the undead. You’ll need to explore this land and overcome difficult bosses if you want to success but be warned, because along with the in-game enemies you also have to be wary of other players invading your game.
By getting the Season Pass players will get the Lost Crown Trilogy of DLC. These three pieces of DLC come with three new challenging areas and they all involve the Daughters of Manos and three Kingdoms that came before Drangleic.
Moving over to the PS4, for the next two days you’ll be able to get Lords of the Fallen for €34.99/£29.99/AU$47.95. Best described as Dark Souls by another developer, in Lords of the Fallen you play as Harkyn, a convicted criminal who must face the Fallen Lords of the Demonic Rhogar Legions. In the game you’ll have to explore a dark fantasy world and journey through both the human and the demonic realms.
Things are a little more odd for PS Vita players because if you live outside India and South Africa you’re getting One Piece Unlimited World Red for €14.99/£11.99/AU$22.95. Meanwhile South African and Indian players will be getting the RPG Hyperdimension Neptunia ReBirth1 for INR 1,129/ZAR 219 instead.
For players who don’t like the idea of rage quitting there’s always Hyperdimension Neptunia ReBirth1
In One Piece Unlimited World Red Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates have befriended a raccoon called Pato who is looking “to meet somebody”. While helping Pato they land on the Forgotten Island and every member of the Straw Hat Pirates except Luffy get kidnapped by a pirate called The Red Count. Together with Pato Luffy must explore the Forgotten Island in order to save his friends and stop whatever The Red Count is planning.
Meanwhile in Hyperdimension Neptunia ReBirth1, you play as one of the Goddess Neptunia who was hurled down to the world of Gamindustri and (you guessed it) is now suffering with amnesia as losing in the War with the Goddess. Together with Compa, IF and a mysterious book that contains the history of the world of Gamindustri Neptunia most embark on a quest to save the world from monsters and unlock her memories.
These deals will only be available till 11.59am on Friday and then they’ll be replaced with another deal.
