Moreover, Microsoft released some details about the “Day One” edition of the game. Those who choose to preorder Dead Rising 3 will receive extra and exclusive content through Xbox Live in the following weeks after the launch of the console.
All Dead Rising 3 Day One Exclusive Features and Bonuses will be distributed under the Dead Rising Tribute Pack which will include a Classic Frank West complete costume with Frank’s Zombie Slugger weapon, extra attacks and skill bonuses. The pack will also feature an official Chuck Greene costume and a Paddle Saw weapon.
The SeasonPass for Dead Rising 3 will also be available for fans starting November 22, the official launch date, Microsoft announced. For an extra $29.99, fans will receive four more expansion for Dead Rising 3. First, there will be “Operation Black Eagle”, the expansion pack that will be released in December. It will be shortly followed by other three expansions, “Fallen Angel”, “Chaos Rising” and “The Last Agent”.
According to Mike Jones, producer at Capcom Vancouver, Dead Rising 3 will have between six and ten different endings. Endings will be affected by all the decisions and actions taken by the player during the game. You have the opportunity to grow in level, by adding points to certain categories at will and the freedom to “combine anything with anything, anywhere.” Moreover, the game features an exclusive SmartGlass mission that can be activated by recovering a PDA from a dead military agent.
In another train of thoughts, bad news is coming from Australia, where the game received a rather harsh rating of R18+. The Australian Classification Board gave Dead Rising 3 the maximum rating possible due to extreme violence, scenes of gore and excessive nudity.
