Of all the minor criticisms to surface regarding the widely played MMOFPS Destiny, an often recurring one is that the game doesn’t have enough content or maps to keep the gameplay fresh or interesting for prolonged periods of time. While that’s a matter of opinion, more content is now on the way as the first official expansion for Destiny hits in two weeks. Bungie gave us our first official look at The Dark Below today in the in-depth trailer below.
As for what we’ll see in the new add-on, it’s set to include a brand new 6-player raid known as Crota’s End, new weapons, new gear, lots more loot and three new multiplayer maps known as; Pantheon, Skyshock and The Cauldron. A lot of the trailer also focuses on Eris Morn, a new vendor and the primary story NPC for The Dark Below. There’s also a new exclusive strike only for Playstation users.
Destiny’s first add-on The Dark Below is set for release on December 9th, Bungie plan to follow up with a second add-on entitled House of Wolves in 2015.
