Destiny – Redeem Codes Activated

Destiny is upon us and Bungie is letting everyone into the world a little more each day. As reported by many already, there will be a community event held at the Bungie Studio’s on 9/8/14 prior to the games release. In addition, a live action preview was released early on Friday (One word my friends: Awesome). What most people might have missed is the update to the “codes” section (found underneath the gamer profile section) on Bungie’s website. Bungie’s surprise update has changed all the codes entered by the gamer from “Come back 2014 to see what you have unlocked” to now it will state the individual unlocked item for each code entered. Next to each item you unlock is a button that states “use now”. Once selected the unlockable will be attached to the account you have linked to the Bungie website (Xbox one, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 gamer tags). These unlockable items will be available to your Guardian once you finally have the game.

How do you get the codes to redeem for an unlockable item? One of the easiest codes to obtain is the emblem unlock from the Destiny Plant View site by visiting all the points of interest (or search for the code on various websites).  The codes 1-17 displayed on the images attached to this article are from trading cards produced by Bungie from various events in 2013/2014. Below is a list of the codes just as an added benefit of reading this article!
