Details on a new Hitman-game coming “this year”
The ladies sure do love a well-dressed man, but if that man just so happens a bald-headed assassin with fiber wire wrapped around his knuckles and a silenced Silverballer pistol in one of his holsters, well… not so much. Good thing we gamers love that kind of man though, since IO Interactive confirmed – through Agent 47’s official Twitter – that “more info” about a new Hitman-title will be coming this year, and they “can’t wait to share it!”.
Curious Twitter-user @kirolos55 asked IO Interactive the following through Hitman‘s official Twitter page: “When are you releasing the next game? I can’t wait, it is going to be awesome!”, to which the one and only @Hitman himself enthusiastically replied with “There’s more info coming this year and we can’t wait to share it!”.
But just because they can’t wait doesn’t mean they’ll give us the information right now, unfortunately. “This year” could be a month from now, two months, three months, nine months, only God (and IO Interactive) knows when new details will hit us, yet we do know that IO Interactive aims to return to the roots of the Hitman-series with the new title in the series, and that a mobile Hitman spin-off will be released this year, called Hitman: Sniper.
