The sequel to the 2010 installment in the Castlevania saga, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 received a new video from its developers at MercurySteam. Available in Full HD the video is a part of a Dev Diary series and focuses around the world of the game.
Although the in-game atmosphere is inspired by real-world cathedrals and places, the city in which the story takes place is created to fit the gothic-style environment suitable for a character like Dracula. As the world will be getting progressively open with time, players will be able to teleport from one place to another via a special item they will receive at some point in the game.
Being set in the new era, players will be able to get their hands on new weapons and face a bunch of new enemies. Although the graphics of the game are not perfect, the aesthetics seem simply astonishing.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be released in February 25, 2014 for the NA region and February 28, 2014 for the EU (UK) region. Currently the game will be available on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as Konami officials have stated that instead of making it for the next-gen consoles, they will focus on ‘one last great current-gen’ game.
